New Mexico frequently plays host to any number of seminars and workshops regarding the history as well as the making of motion pictures. At last year's Santa Fe Film Festival, for example, Hollywood casting director Lynn Stahlmaster held court at a lecture titled "So you want to be in pictures?" Another major event is the Santa Fe Screenwriter's Conference, which bills itself, simply, as "the best screenwriting conference in the world." You'd have to check it out to be sure.
